Ever since I can remember, teaching has been and always will be my calling in life. I have spent 18 years teaching at Los Altos School District after obtaining my teaching credential from San Jose State University. During the past eighteen years, I have had the experience of working with many different teachers. I have gained an abundance of insight from my master teachers, grade level partners, principals, administration, mentors and other educators. I believe learning is a lifelong experience. I am enthusiastic about teaching first grade because of the amazing growth and development that occurs in each and every child. I am very dedicated to my work, but when I am not involved with school activities, I love to spend time with my 16 year old son. Quinton is a junior at Mountain View High School and plays football. I also like to swim, water-ski, walk on the beach, look at sunsets, watch football (49er/Alabama fan), snow ski, and hike. I am truly looking forward to a year of learning with your children.
