Welcome to Loyola!

What a wonderful year we have ahead of us! As a new Loyola family you may have questions about various activities, programs, and fundraisers here at Loyola. Please check out the New Family FAQ to orient yourself to your new environment.

In addition, we would like to outline a few important events that will happen right away, at the beginning of the school year:

New Families Welcome

Loyola typically hosts a New Family Orientation the Monday before school officially starts, during which all families new to Loyola are invited to join Principal Julian and the PTA for a short presentation, and new students get a guided tour of the campus from student guides.

This year's orientation will take place in the Multi-Use Room (right next to the school office) on Monday, August 15, 2022, 6:30-7:30PM. New families will receive an email invitation with more information in August. Both adults and kids are invited!

PTA Meetings

Parent Teacher Association (PTA) meetings are a great way to stay informed with what's going on in our community. The meetings are open to all parents and you are encouraged to attend. The Loyola PTA makes a tremendous contribution to the school, and ensures the parents' and teachers' thoughts and concerns are heard. See the weekly school newsletter for dates and times.

Loyola Weekly Roar

The Weekly Roar is Loyola weekly newsletter. It typically arrives in your inbox around 4PM every Thursday, and contains news from our principal, the PTA, LASD, LAEF, as well as events around the school and area. It is a great source of information and keeps the parents informed.

Hot Lunch Program

The Los Altos School District participates in a hot lunch program at all school sites which conforms to federal and state nutrition guidelines. All students may participate by purchasing a lunch. Please see our Hot Lunch page for information specific to Loyola.
