I genuinely love being a teacher and hope each child I have taught believes perseverance is worth the effort and that difficult tasks can be approached with the lens of excitement. I have been a teacher at Loyola Elementary School since 1995 and have taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and now, 6th grade. I grew up in San Jose and attended UC Berkeley for my undergraduate degree. I received my teaching credential from Santa Clara University and an M.Ed. from San Jose State University. I live with my husband and two girls in Los Altos, and when not teaching, you can find me going on long walks with friends, reading, or spending time in the sun with my family.
